Las Vegas, NV – March 16, 2006, NSCA – EAW is introducing two new amplifiers into its EAW Commercial family. The new EAW Commercial CAM80 and CAM160 (80 watts and 160 watts respectively) join the current CAM mixer/amplifier series, offering additional power to meet the demands of industrial-strength audio applications.
The CAM80 and CAM160 provide 80 watts and 160 watts of power respectively. Both models feature robust construction and full safety compliance. Like the rest of the CAM Series, the new CAM80 and CAM160 are incredibly versatile, with features that allow each model to fit numerous applications while providing installers with plenty of latitude for last minute changes.
Key features include a choice of outputs for 25V, 70V, or 100V, as well as low impedance connections. Combination ¼-inch TRS and XLR jacks accept both line level or mic level inputs in the same connector, with individual phantom power switches. In addition, functions such as "Voice Priority", telephone paging input, and a pre-amplifier insert point, are standard on the CAM series. They even have to ability to be run on 24V DC power (using an external DC supply).
The new EAW Commercial CAM80 and CAM160, along with the rest of the CAM Series, are currently on display at NSCA Convention, Las Vegas Convention Center, March 16-18, 2006, booth #2337.
